  A friend invited us out to Brix for happy hour on Saturday and Wow! Were we happily surprised!
  
  They've just East from Binkley's (one of Cave Creeks finest restaurants), West of Tom Darlington and ont he North side of Cave Creek Road. They're in a shopping center that, at first, made it tough for us to find them. But perseverance paid off and in short order we found them and settled in for a great Happy Hour experience.
  
  The space is nicely appointed and the wine racks just cover the walls. It is defintiately a western feel in the place, from the way they spell the wine varieties (mur-lo, pee-no, etc) using steel plates that have been handworked to the neat little placard holder Nancy has put together - the whole place just looks like someone cares.
  
  The bar is very open and the denizens seemed to be very friendly, which I think is direct reflection of Nancy, the gal behind the bar. The place is owned by her and her husband and they've just been awarded the "Entrepreneur of the Year" for Cave Creek - the way they treat people it's no real wonder either.
  
  We took in a couple of the happy hour wines (at $5 a glass! Great deal!), the cheese plate with a horseradish cheddar that was very nice and some loud laughing from some of the jokes being passed around.
  
  I've ranked them five stars and will visit again I'm sure!

  Love the new location! Ambiance is nice, music was great tonight! Enjoyed our evening and of course the wine!
